“What do you do, when you’re the most important person in the room?” asked Pastor Andy Stanley of President Barack Obama.

Stanley’s answer: You leverage that power for the benefit of other people in the room.

To the president, Stanley said: “Mr. President you have an awfully big room.”

Pastor Andy Stanley of North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Ga., gave a sermon to the president and his family this morning at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C.

Stanley also called the president the “Pastor-in-chief” after thanking him for comforting the nation during some of the tragic events of the last four years.

The first family and guests were later escorted to Capitol Hill for the inaugural ceremony.
