The other day I was doing my monthly food shopping at Sam’s Club.  I wanted to buy food for actual meals, not just food that is hard to make meals out of.  It was a Sunday afternoon, and for those who know the “Sam’s Club world” that meant only one good thing:  FOOD SAMPLES!!!!!  After devouring a countless amount of samples, my stomach was fuller than before I went shopping.  Then I rounded the corner in the meat section and my eye caught the most glorious package of meat I had ever seen; yes folks, it was the chicken & spinach Asiago cheese sausage.  I picked it up and looked at all its majesty in the tightly wrapped package and gently placed it in the top part of the basket, away from the heavy items so it wouldn’t get crushed.

I went home and took out five sausages from the package, turned the stove to a medium heat, put some olive oil in a frying pan, sprinkled garlic powder on the pan, and tossed in the meat.  While the sausage was browning I made a pound of elbow macaroni in a medium pot.  (You can use whatever you prefer; I had that in the cupboard.)  Once the sausage was done cooking and the noodles finished softening I cut the sausage into pieces and put it in the pot with pasta.  Lastly, I added a jar of Ragu Alfredo sauces and stirred it all together.  In about 20 minutes I had this delicious masterpiece to fill my belly! Plus, I had about 2-3 more servings leftover for the next couple of days!
