‘Tis the season for springtime and flowers… and hopefully some warm weather! What better way to prepare for spring than to spruce up your dorm room door?
Here’s all you need:
I got all of the supplies at Michael’s, and they are having a GREAT floral sale right now.
From left to right, I got the peach hydrangeas for less than $4 (they were 60% off), the pink tiny roses for $0.99 and the baby’s breath for $2.99 (I used a 50% off coupon. The wreath was on sale for $1.89!!
All together, tax included, this cost $11.34. I’d scurry over to Michael’s this week if you plan to make a wreath like this one.
And the best part of this craft is that it’s super easy!
All you need to do is lay out the wreath and place the baby’s breath where you want it. I like to place the larger flowers (or bundles of flowers, in this case) first and work the smaller flowers around them.
Cut the flowers off of the stems and place them around the bare spots of the wreath. I used the peach hydrangeas to cover the ends of the baby’s breath.
Hot glue the flowers in place for added stability.
Add in the tiny roses for accent pops of color.
Enjoy your finished work, hang and enjoy!
There are tons of flowers on sale at Michael’s, so this craft can be totally customized to your favorite style and colors. Have at it and make your wreath your own!
