The Lady Buffs soccer team had a record of 2-4-1 going into last night’s game against King University.
Leading the night the Buffs outshot the Tornados 24-15 along with the most shots on goal 11-7.
Even with a terrific night the buffs came up short loosing 1-0.
With three great saves early in the second half by goalie Lauren McInturff, the Buffs could not prevail as King scored the first goal.
King put themselves on the board when returning senior Devon Shanklin scored off an assist from freshman Lindsay Curtis in the second half.
With shots by Lauren Brewer, Rebecca Buchanan and Callie West the Lady Buffs could not stop this tornado in its tracks.
With a record of 2-5-1, the women try to regain their balance as they face conference rival Point University at home this Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
