Mary B. Martin’s legacy at Milligan College was recognized at the Johnson City Symphony in the auditorium that bears her name on Saturday, Feb. 5.

Milligan College President, Don Jeanes, presented bronze plaques to Martin’s husband, Jim, and daughter, Sonja King. The plaques featured a silhouette of Seeger Chapel, honoring a $500,000 donation Martin gave in honor of his wife.

After the presentation, the Johnson City Symphony, who calls the auditorium home, graced the audience with their talents.
