MCA-also known as the group for Multi-Cultural Awareness- seeks to provide creative methods for bringing different cultural events to Milligan’s campus. This has included events such as food festivals with culinary delights from other countries or parties such as Mexican Independence Day.
Next week MCA will be providing another outlet for Milligan students to take part in to appreciate culture and beauty from around the world.
MCA is holding a fashion show on April 26th at 8 p.m. in the Cafeteria. The fashion show will feature outfits assembled from Belk and Charming Charlie’s; various regions of the world have inspired the outfits. Clothing pieces will reflect the culture and styles of areas such as Africa, Europe, Central America, North America and Asia.
The Fashion Show is led by Tiffany Wong and Liz O’Neil and will feature models from Milligan’s own student body.
