This semester’s semi-formal dance, “That Big Party,” is a step up from previous years. Several changes have been made to make the event bigger and better.
All Milligan students are invited to attend the party, not just juniors and seniors.
“We feel that this will create the sense of community that Milligan loves,” said SGA junior representative Ashlee Graham.
“That Big Party” will be held at The Banq in downtown Kingsport. The venue will support a rooftop dance floor for students to enjoy.
“We thought the rooftop would be so much fun because downtown Kingsport at night is beautiful,” Graham said. “We will be dancing the night away under the stars.”
In addition to the location and invitation changes, the name “That Big Party” is new as well. The name of the event was created by SGA after not being able to reach a different title.
Students are expected to dress in black or white attire. Seniors can wear any color they want.
Tickets have all been sold and the party begins at 7:30 p.m. this today.
